Ingredients:

  • 500 g beans
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil or butter
  • 5-6 cloves of  garlic, crushed
  • salt to taste
  • 1 / 2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 / 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 / 2 tsp. cumin
  • 3 cups of water or chicken broth

Preparation:

Wash the beans and put in a deep bowl. Cover with water so that it completely covers the beans.

Change the water 2 times every day for 2-3 days, until the beans did not germinate.

When beans are ready, you can prepare the soup. You can clean the beans from skin.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a saucepan, add onion. Fry the onions for 5 minutes until golden brown.

Add spices, stir.

Add beans, water or broth, cover and cook on low heat for 40-45 minutes.

Salt.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, add garlic and fry it until golden brown.

Then add the garlic in the soup, cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Serve hot soup with lemon and warm bread, yogurt and green salad.
