Halva coconuts1 Ingredients:

  • 1 Tin Condensed Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Fresh/Frozen Grated Coconut
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Ghee/Butter
  • 5 Tbsp Chopped Walnut

Preparation:

  1. Grind coarsely the grated coconut without using any water and keep it aside.
  2. In a heavy bottomed pan mix in condensed milk,sugar, coconut and bring it to boil.
  3. Once it starts boiling add in about 2 Tbsp of ghee or butter and keep stirring constantly until the mixture tuns to golden brown.
  4. Now add 3 Tsp the chopped walnut and keep mixing until the mixture starts leaving the side of the pan.
  5. Spread evenly on a greased tin and let it cool.
  6. Put remained walnuts above halva. Cut them into desired shape.
