Hawaushi

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg minced meat
  • 5 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 sweet peppers, chopped
  • 1 chili pepper, chopped
  • 3 Tbls. parsley, chopped
  • 2 Tbls. of vegetable oil
  • spice: salt, black pepper, spices for the meat (lyahma barahat)
  • pita bread

Preparation:

Heat oil in a pan and fry onion until it soft.

Add minced meat and fry it with onion about 2-3 minutes.

Add salt and spice and remove it from the fire.

Combine minced meat with onion, tomatoes, sweet pepper, chili pepper, greens and mix good.

Spread some of the mixture on half of each bread, fold the other half of the bread to cover the mix, brush the bread with butter, then wrap tight with the baking paper, place on a baking tray , bake in the oven 200 C  for about 40 minutes or until the meat is tender.
