Ingredients:

  • 1 onion, chopped in 4 parted
  • 1 liter of  water or chicken/meat soup
  • 3-4 Tbls. Orzo
  • 2-3 Tbls. of vegetable oil
  • Spice
  • Greens
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice for serving

Preparation:

  • Heat the oil in a pan.
  • Add onion…Fry until it becomes brown
  • Add Orzo…Cook using low flame….Stir until it becomes  red.
  • Boil 1 liter of water (or the soup) then add it to the onion and Orzo.
  • Cook until Orzo becomes soft (25-30 mins) then add Salt.Serve with lemon
  • Serve hot with lemon/spice/greens as preferred.
